NEWS: Further expansion of the DVD-archive

11 Artist at CIA.IS

The DVD-archive at the CIA.IS office is a helpful tool for foreign guest who want to gain a first insight into the wide spectrum of Icelandic art activity. In cooperation with SÍM – the Association of Icelandic Visual Artists – the center at Hafnarstræti offers besides a small library this DVD-archive since May 2005. In a a rotating presentation 11 artists who work in all different kind of media are introduced in this DVD-archive. The artists are free to use this medium to present videoworks, to use it only for documentation or both.
